I call it Marble Palace :)

Frenz here are few snaps taken by me and few grabbed from the web… Hope you differentiate between those.
Now about the place, this is a Jain temple by name “Shri Parshwa Sushil Dham”. It is the second place that took me off my feet after the Mysore Palace. Yes a wonderful place where you can discover yourself, a place where even breeze enters with silence. Though sun glows as much as it could when u enter the place the ambience will chill your heart and soul… I felt it.
One day when I was travelling home (Coimbatore) I just saw this temple. It was night so I couldn’t find out any landmarks nearby. Then after every time I go home I used to gaze out of the window to find out which place it is. It is on the highways after electronic city and before Hosur.

After some days it happened that I felt I should go there somehow. So I just asked my colleague cum friend Kalai if she knows the place and she said she would find out from her friend and tell me. And one day she came back to me and said it is in a place called Bommanasandra.

Then I set my mind for the travel. 11th December 2010, Saturday I got up @ 6 am (Yup believe me.. I got up :P), decided to travel there alone and started my journey. I reached Bommanasandra but had no symptoms of that temple. Then got into Atibele bus again and decided not to get down until I see the temple. Finally I saw it after the place called Neralur very close to Atibele.

I walked down to the temple. Found no one there. I was worried if the watchman would let me in. Was a little afraid but the ambience changed me. I was overwhelmed with the architecture and sculptures all in white seemed like in heaven (Yeah stories and pictures show heaven in snow white na.. :P). I didn’t know how to worship that god so just sat down there admired things around and came back.

This is during some festival I guess… Grabbed it from web.

For those who wish to visit just get into bus number 360 from Majestic or Silkboard and get down in Guest house stop after Neralur, the temple is just walk able distance from there.

Searching never ends…

Yup I know it’s a long time since I have posted on my blog. But the reason for it is silly.. Yeah its because I was busy on my search.

Enough stop imagination… I am just searching for a house for rent and that is all…
But I have realized getting a house for rent in Bangalore is the most difficult challenge.

Just a month before my friend Karthick called me up and said they (Karthick and Vinoth) are planning to shift from the house in which they are staying now (in Bangalore). And when I was just telling about this casually to my mom she said, “Why don’t u also search along with them and shift to a house nearby to their house so that u will be safe...” And just after that I spoke to my friend Suganya who also liked this idea.

Then started our hunt, everyday after office we would go on a hunt street by street in search of TOLET boards or new buildings being constructed. Till today we have not found even a single TOLET board. Pathetic.

But we explored every new building being constructed. We would go there find the watchman ask him for the owners contact number, few would give and few would not.

After all this these were few answers which we got to hear :
1. The building would take few months to complete.
2. Sorry all the houses are already booked
3. Not for bachelors.
4. INR 10k for 1bhk.
5. We are not giving for rent. It’s a PG. etc etc

Few days back one such incident really frustrated me. Vinoth, Suganya and me went in search one fine evening for a house in BEML Layout. We just saw construction going on the second floor of a house. We knocked the door and a lady came out. We asked if she would give that for rent for bachelors and she said yes. Fine we were happy the next question was about rent. She said there are one 1bhk and one single room getting ready. We felt its fine and we shall share the kitchen. And she said the rent would be between 6k to 7k for the 1bhk and 5k for the single room. Everything was fine and we were happy that we have found our place. She asked us to come the next day morning to see the house. I had a peaceful sleep that night. Morning Suganya and me went to see the house with full josh. I would not want to comment on the single room, but about the so called 1bhk – It had a pathway called hall, a bedroom which was half the area of the single room and finally the kitchen smaller than the bathroom. Though the house was very small we felt its ok. The lady came out and said its 7k for that house (ok agreed) , then she continued saying water and electricity bill are separate (ok its obvious) then she said u have to pay for maintenance every month (I wondered what is this maintenance for an individual house) and out of curiosity I asked what it is. She replied saying maintenance for each room is INR 500. So for that 1bhk as she calls it, the rent sums upto to 8500 (7000 + (3 * 500)) excluding water and electricity bills. EKSI..

Apart from all these I used to google for the same and would get some contact numbers and call them and if it was a broker I would say sorry not interested.

But after all these frustrations the scene changed. We went to nearly 3 brokers but they said sorry no house not interested. OMG

The worst part was even a half constructed house in Bangalore is booked and even before the construction is over people start living in these houses.

Finally now we are left up with only two options :
1. To stop searching.
2. Book a house for which foundation is laid. :P

Searching is pain. Never before had I searched for anything like this. Am fed up.
People reading this please give me tips on how to search a house.

1 day @ de LAND OF ART - Mysore

Date : 20th November 2010.
Morning @ 3 30 were my frenz Karthi and Vinod waiting @ my gate.. I rushed to the car. Then went to pick up my frenz Sugan and Vidhu and headed towards Murugeshpalya where CKB, Raj and Ezhil joined and the gang was complete to start our trip.

We had good songs to hear from Ezhil’s memory card and spent our travel playing cards brought by CKB. 1st I restrained myself from playing bcoz I didn’t know how to play the game ace. But thanks to Ezhil who with his hat trick defeat encouraged me to join the game… Thanks Ezhil.

Slowly daylight started peeping in and the mist covered nature stopped us to snap them. Here is a photo where we also joined nature covered with mist.
It was 6 am when our stomach started grumbling @ us though had some biscuits nothing helped.. We were crazy to look out for some restaurants to be open but it was just madness to expect that so early. It was 6 30 when we reached St Philomena church. Took some snaps there and moved towards Chamundi hills to meet Goddess Mahishasuramardhini

The temple opened @ 7 30 and we were 10 minutes b4 it opened. Had to wait in a small queue to meet that dazzling goddess… Wow was a divine morning. Had a great feeling when we came out. Unbearable hunger pushed us into a small mess nearby where we had our breakfast.

Then we travelled back to Srirangapatinam. On the way found the place where Tipu Sultan fell dead.

We met Lord Ranganathaswamy there and then started back to Mysore palace. And I found beautiful paintings @ the small shops outside the temple but my frenz pulled me off to start to the next place. But still I managed to buy a Vinayagar statue which the seller promised was Sandal wood and I knew it wasn’t …

@ Palace: OMG I wonder why I was not born during the olden age. What a life the palace people would have lived. Especially when I stood down the big dome where marriage rituals of the kings family were performed I lost myself. The dome was a glass designer imported from UK. And down around the palace were tiny tiles which were about 1 x 1 inch each and I still wonder how they placed it so perfectly and how many days how many people would have worked for it.. It was mind boggling. We also saw kings residential palace where his clothes, the toys with which he played with, few swords and many others were preserved. By the time we came around the palace we were damn hungry and as soon as we reached the exit of the palace we rushed to a hotel for our lunch.

Sorry I forgot the name of the hotel that killed two hours of our trip time by such a slow and very bad service.

And then we reached the zoo where we had to walk about 2.9Kms to come around. Though initially we were hesitating about the distance but when we saw the variety and beauty of different fauna found there we didn’t know how we walked around the distance. Some of them that I remember are zebra, giraffe, a species of kangaroo, lion, white tiger, white peacock, chimpanzee (it was awesome. Jus resembled human beings), squirrel monkey (which looks like a monkey and squirrel), white deer, bear, cheetah, ostrich, many beautiful birds and may others. And my frenz had a great time naming each animal found there with my name.

Yeah we reached finally our last place of visit KRS dam. Though the dam was closed we had a great evening @ Brindavan with the water fountains dazzling in light, musical fountain and boating stole our hearts. We sat there for a small chat and our trip came to an end.
Our journey back home started. And again we enjoyed it playing cards. It was around 12 midnight when I stepped in to my room.

My dreams that night took me back to the palace that I still feel overwhelmed about.

A great trip but my frenz made me miss the joy of shopping. Its ok I would go there again at least for the sake of shopping some good art.

Story time -- Don't use Sorry.

There once was a little girl who had a bad temper.

Her mother gave her a bag of nails and told her that every time she lost her temper, she must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the girl had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as she learned to control her anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

She discovered it was easier to hold her temper than to drive those nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the girl didn't lose her temper at all.

She told her mother about it and the mother suggested that the girl now pull out one nail for each day that she was able to hold her temper. The days passed and the young girl was finally able to tell her mother that all the nails were gone.

The mother took her daughter by the hand and led her to the fence.
She said, "You have done well, my daughter, but look at the holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one."

You can put a knife in a person and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say "I'm sorry", the wound is still there. A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Caution: Just forget the story as soon as u read it after taking into u the essence of the story. Why I am telling this is because tomorrow u should not be in trouble.

Puriyalaya...?? Ok after reading this story u may think of doing it with your child. (Ok if you dont have one now also may be in future...) ... But please don't try that. These days kids are really smart and cunning instead of nailing the wall they may nail you... If anything like that happens then I am in no way responsible... :P

Grow short to enjoy life.. :-P

Seri seri wait till u complete reading the full post. Apram thitalam. I will give time.

I know your 1st knock out for me would be... “Hey loose how can someone be short if he/she grows... Yena title adhu ‘GROW SHORT’.. Loose _____________________________..”

Podhum ... But wait.

My post is all about VERTICALLY CHALLENGED”. Generally it happens that we show sympathy for people who are physically challenged, mentally challenged etc. But that is not the case for vertically challenged. Being vertically challenged is a gift.

“VERTICALLY CHALLENGED” -->

By Karthick and Vinoth. For explanation contact them.

Coming to what I wanted to convey. In this post I would like to make some un“They cannot turn short now... But short people can grow tall anytime in their life...” Yeah (Janani yengayo poyitae po...) see the above sentence itself proves how unlucky tall people are.... Sorry I can’t help it.

Starting from when we were born short people are always admired by others... Neengala solunga a baby that is born if it is tall than other babies will u like it...??? Nope u may not..

Then when u go to school and if u are the shortest person then u can always stand 1st in the queue say for assembly, then u can enjoy all activities on stage. And in school mostly u will be asked to sit in height order there also short people score their goal bcoz everyone (At least my frenz ) will know the advantage of being a 1st bencher. Even while playing Hide and Seek u win ya... :0

Ooops... Then coming to college OMG yena jolly.. Hmmm adhu sila pisasugaluku puriyadhu.. Pavam.

Class la looti adikaradhu la irundhu exam la copy adikaradhu varaikum ellathukum not being tall helps.... :) :)

Life is short so why grow tall and worry the person who digs ur home after ur death too..

Apdi Ipdi nu from birth to death being tall doesn’t help much anywhere then why the hell to drink COMPLAN... Grow tall and give neck pain to people... Waste Iodex..????

Be short save ur nation..!!! Namma thala Abdhul Kalam kuda short than.. ;)

Seri above all if u grow tall can u enjoy nicknames kept by frenz like

Kullanjavadi

Kulls

Thakali

Eli

Kosu

Above all

“Vertically handicapped” --> Yeppa enakae mudiyila...

Ok ok thanks for controlling urself till now.. Start commenting. :P

In RAC with confirm ticket : Truth Revealed

Thanks for all your interests shown for my last post…
But sorry to tell that I made a small blunder in order to make you enjoy my post..
Yeah I missed out just a single letter in front of a two letter word…

Yup it’s the letter ‘s’ in front of the word ‘he’
Now with the correction made read it once more dear frenz and then will clever people easily guess it out that the passengers are none other than ‘VIDYA’ and ‘ME’.
I can understand the bad words waiting to fill in my comments filed but
“Indha post ku comments STRICTLY PROHIBITED”.

But one thing good about my previous post is I came to know about a lot of pairs… Yes thru phone calls, messages and chats everyone had some good guess saying
“Aye indha pair thana… Andha pair thana….”

Hmmm thirundhunga pa…. Enna madhiri nalla pullaya irunga… Ok…

In RAC with confirm ticket

Am back… After lots of philosophical posts today u will be excited to read this masala post. Indha post friends in virupam…

“In RAC with confirm ticket” --- title is interesting na… Ok let me start the story….

Date : 14th October 2010.
Place : Bangalore.

She was travelling home that night, so started early from office @ 6. Got completely drenched in rain when she reached her room (Blore), then was hurrying up to pack up things to start her journey home. She was in a blue dress.

He ---> He was also travelling home tat night. Yeah ur guess is right… to Coimbatore only. So he also started from office early but he took so much care so as to not to get wet in rain.. Clever as ever…!!! He packed up and reached the railway station @ 10 after surpassing the Bangalore traffic. His train was @ 10 15 (Coimbatore Express -- seat number 30 – Upper berth – confirmed ticket). He was wearing a Blue jean and brown over coat..

She reached the railway station @ 10 15 to catch the same Coimbatore Express – Seat number 27 – Upper berth – Confirmed ticket.. Oh my GOD what a coincidence… !!!
And her good luck the train was late by half an hour so she caught the train.

Time --> 10 : 45 -- Train arrived @ Platform 3.

Both of them got into the train. They sat down in side lower near their berth. She then climbed up to her berth and found the seat dirty with tea spilt but managed to wipe it with a paper, still didn’t feel sleeping there. So she remained sitting there. Then looked @ her opposite berth and felt very happy as it was Sambar there dried up on his berth. The bad part was it could not be cleaned also.

They spoke to TTR about their dirty berth and if there was any cleaner… But nothing worked out. Finally both of them decided to share the side upper next to their berth and requested the TTR and yeah got it done… “In RAC with confirm ticket”.

Time --> 11 : 30

Then they started chatting with each other that they even forget they are travelling in a train and all are sleeping. One person got up and asked them not to make noise, but nothing got into their ears. He had a laptop and she had some film DVD s. So they decided to watch some film. They started watching Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham. Again after some time they started chatting that they did not concentrate in the film also. Then they realized its better to switch the laptop off and continue with what they were doing.

Amidst all this they were some guys in the next compartment making fun of these two.. But as u all would guess they never bothered about anything around them. They were in their own world.

Time --> 1 : 45

Somehow the story has to end. So then came the TTR. He had his seat in the same coach. He realized that he cannot sleep if he leaves them together. So he offered a berth in the next coach.. (Clever TTR)…

Apram yena mansu illama he went to the next coach and she slept in that berth… TTR turned to be a villain of the story…

Idhuku mela mokkae poda mudiyadhu... Poonga poi velaya parunga....

Mudinja indha vinodha passengers name a guess panunga.......

Love Ur Parents

Yeah just looking at the title I can understand your mind voices. But still wanted to post it. Everyone knows that they have to love their parents but it happens that we often forget it.

Just watch the video below.. Something interesting and something that happens in our own home.

Always be patient to your parents. They are always special. As we grow our responsibilities also grow but we don't realize that love for our parents should also grow with us becoz as days go on and they become old they become kids who require more love, attention and care from us.

So find time to spend with your parents however busy you may be.. Remember who ever you may be you are always a kid to your parents.

By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right,
he usually has a son who thinks he's wrong.
--Charles Wadsworth

I LOVE MY PARENTS...

Am Excited....!!!

Hi frenz... I thought I should share with u all the most exciting moment in my life... Yes as a thread of continuation of my before post I would like to add this...

I had a dream of helping a child get education from long before and once I got my 1st salary I was reminded of my dream. Then one day I visited world vision website and found things interesting there.

Within a couple of days I decided I should do it, then told my parents about this. I expected them to say no or at least to say not now.. But was surprised when they stood calm and I was confused whether to take it as a "yes" or a "no"...

Few days later I decided to choose a child and dropped a mail to world vision saying my interest to sponsor a child. They responded back with few child options but I chose the child below from their website.

And made my 1st payment on 28th September, 2010. (Chose the date as 28th as it was my 1st salary date).

It was some two days before 2nd October my mom called me saying they have received a parcel from world vision with some forms and a photo frame with the child s photo. She also told me that the boy was celebrating his Birthday on 2nd Oct. He is just four years old. And that moment I still don't know why gave me so much excitement as if I have won the whole world. And I am really excited to see how he grows up and what he achieves in life. My parents felt proud for what I have done.

I know I have not done much, its just a matter of few INR from my monthly salary but if that can help a child live his dream, I felt I should do it.

Tomorrow when this child grows up and achieves something in life he will extend his hands to few other children and will help them live their dream.

I have just made a start. And wish who read this also try making a start.

If u and me cant then who else can..???

These children live on the same earth on what we live.. But what is the reason for all these… ??

When there are children carrying loads of books, there are some carrying loads of pain (laboured)… The hand that has to hold pen and pencil here hold spanner and hammer…

So whom can we blame for all these…?? This question will remain unanswered for ages…

Ooooooops!!! Sorry google images did not give me 2010 statistics… So kindly adjust…

The cycle above is clear though confusing… :P

If we have to resolve problems from where do we have to start with…
Should we help people come out of poverty ??
Should we start with stopping child labour ??
Or should the first step be rendering education ??

Whatever the first step is, the other issues will be resolved…

Let us stop blaming people who are responsible, let us stop making research on what are the reasons… As all these are not going to bring any change.

Instead let us stretch out our arms to the needy… May the little contribution we make turn out darkness in someone else life…

Let every child live the way it has to…

Let every child have a peaceful meal…

Let every child be taken care of…

Any of the below may help a child live his/her dream…
